Ashok Leyland expanded its network in Maharashtra with the inauguration of two new outlets of Antony Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., in Bhiwandi and Taloja respectively. Both these new 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) outlets, spread over 50,000+ square feet area, are equipped with 20 service bays each, modern tools, computerised machines sophisticated infrastructure and are strategically located on two crucial arterial highways. “Mumbai is one of the most important markets for commercial vehicles and the opening of these two new outlets strengthens our strategic presence multifold here,” said Vinod K. Dasari, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland. “We now have outlets covering every major route from and to Mumbai and that gives our customers an advantage,” he added. Speaking about the relevance of the State to Ashok Leyland’s plans, Dasari noted that Maharashtra, with its large road network, was crucial for freight movement in India. “Efforts to expand our network in the State have been in high gear, growing by about 25pc last year. I am happy to share that we now have a 3S outlet in each and every district of Maharashtra which is an affirmation of our intent to be as close to our customer as possible,” he said.
